TX Software was a UK based TI99/4a software house run by Mr R Mathews from Harlow.

Mr Mathews had a games program listed in Computer and Video Games Magazine and commercially released several titles for the TI99/4a. Unfortunately soon after starting his business Mr Mathews died.

One of his programs was offered as his own by a Cornish software pirate.

His program Battlefront is listed on a website as being by Stephen Shaw. This was without the knowledge or consent of Stephen Shaw and attempts to have the error rectified have not been a success.

Programs from TX Software include:

  • Battlefront - supplied on a cassette with three games on it, the titled Battlefront plus a Bomber type game and a Racing game.
  • Wargame
  • A 3D Maze program
  • 4-In-A-Row
